Shiraz - 2016 Zema Estate, Coonawarra, South Australia

This wine we thought we knew what to expect with the the Coonawarra region and were surprised when we one flavour characteristic dominated the palate.

A classic Aussie shiraz that "will appeal to a lot of people and 2016 under $30 becomes very interesting" the Zema estate is a solid foundation for our countries red wine backbone. Be prepared to head to the butchers after this episode for the appropriate food pairing!
