Creative Director Sabato De Sarno unveiled his Spring Summer 2025 menswear collection at Triennale Milano on June 17, 2024 as an ode to freedom. “This collection speaks of encounters – incontri – between the city and the beach, and among people who love life,” he says. These encounters occur in a blend of electric and traditional hues as boxy silhouettes meet summer-inspired embroideries and prints, or in modern takes on tailoring alongside new bags that play with volume and materials. Set within a medieval village in Tuscany and surrounded by the UNESCO World Heritage site of Val d’Orcia, the writers’ residency Substratum is a new home for artists where their imagination can blossom, and boundless creativity is encouraged. Sponsored by Gucci, the retreat was inaugurated by award-winning writer, actor and producer Jeremy O. Harris. He invited five upcoming playwrights to join him for a month of writing, pasta-making, and workshops.
Jeremy O. Harris is best known for his award-winning Broadway plays Slave Play and Daddy. He was named as Yale University’s youngest residing president of the Yale Drama Prize. He also works on TV projects, notably as co-producer of the hit series Euphoria.

Raffaella Donatich is a writer and performer based in New York City. Her pilot Sex Act landed her a spot in the residency.
Jean Prounis founded Prounis Jewelry in homage to her ancestry. Her great-grandfather, Otto Prounis, was the co-proprietor of Versailles, a celebrated 1940s nightclub in New York City. When she stumbled upon her grandfather’s treasure-trove of memorabilia and pictures, she knew exactly what she wanted to do. Prounis Jewelry combines Jean’s love of antiquities and a family legacy of creating treasured memories and objects. In this new episode of the Vault miniseries, Jean shares with host Shahidha Bari her family history, the joy of traditional goldsmithing techniques, and a summer of fun travels for her Vault Summer collection.

Created in collaboration with Talk Art, this special episode of the Gucci Podcast celebrates ‘Shifting Intimacies,’ an exhibition by visual artist Andrew Moncrief sponsored by Gucci to generate conversations about what masculinity and identity mean in 2022, through the prism of our men’s universe.
Influenced at an early age by a rigid and immobile interpretation of masculinity, Andrew’s work explores depictions of the male identity, questioning idealism, queerness, and representation. The Canadian artist, now based in Berlin, questions masculinity and the representation of queer bodies in his surreal and powerful canvases inspired by existing images, reworked as collages where colors and shapes intermingle.
Hosted within Gucci’s Saint-German boutique, the exhibition, comprising a series of paintings featuring five queer Berlin personalities wearing pieces from the Gucci Love Parade collection, ran during Paris Fashion Week in June 2022.

Expanding the narrative of the House, Gucci’s experimental online store inaugurates its very own platform to view and collect NFT artworks from contemporary creators. Through a partnership between the House and SuperRare, Vault Art Space launches its first exhibition and auction entitled ‘The Next 100 Years of Gucci.’ To celebrate the first of three drops, artist, philosopher, curator, and writer Rowynn Dumont hosted a conversation alongside Luke Whyte from SuperRare Magazine on Twitter Spaces with illustrator An Chen from Taiwan, 3D artist Sasha Katz based in Athens, painter Alanna Vanacore living in New York, experimental artist Dārta Katrīna from Latvia, and interdisciplinary artist Kris Andrew Small based out of Sydney, Australia.

Gohar World is a tableware universe which celebrates time, tradition, craft, and humor. Rather than setting the table, Gohar dresses the table. Both fanciful and functional, their surrealist home objects are future heirlooms designed in New York and made by family-run ateliers. To emphasize the Epilogue collection’s retro, eclectic spirit, Alessandro Michele chose prints from Ken Scott archive, preserved by Como-based textile producer Mantero, and applied them to emblematic House designs.

Renata Cherlise has been building an extraordinary archive of Black images at BlackArchives.co, redefining who chooses the images preserved and celebrated. Through her work, she builds places where the Black image lives for itself rather than in some kind of abstraction of whiteness.
Theo Imani is an Italian Ghanaian medical student and visual researcher with a passion for finding echoes between the African and European image. His Instagram account @theoimani seeks to interrogate the relationship between imagery, teasing the classical and the contemporary to reframe notions of the Black image.
Osei Bonsu, International Curator at Tate Modern is an expert in Black, African and diasporic art. His work as an independent curator in Paris and London seeks to challenge institutions and artists to fully represent the range and nuances of black art, pushing the art world to expand their understanding and appreciation.

For Alessandro Michele’s return to Menswear in January of this year with the Fall Winter 2020 collection, hosted at the Palazzo delle Scintille in Milan, punk legend and writer Richard Hell was seated on the front row. Revealed on the runway were a lineup of T-shirts which featured word combinations from Richard Hell's book 'Psychopts,' created in collaboration with his friend and artist Christopher Wool. Original artworks include pairs of words overlapping one another, such as ‘think’ with ‘thank’ and ‘impatient’ with ‘impotent’ which were featured in the Menswear collection as slogan T-shirts.
Throughout the years, from his punk band era through to career as a writer, Richard Hell has been collecting these unusual word combinations. In this podcast, Richard is interviewed by William Ndatira, otherwise known as William Cult on Instagram. Their conversation is themed around words and more specifically around Freudian slips. Blossoming into life, the new Gucci Bloom campaign is set in a garden of dreams at the revered La Scuarzuola, a mystical landmark found deep in Italy's Umbrian hills near Orvieto in Italy.
La Scuarzuola is a surrealist architectural compound built around an old Franciscan convent, designed by architect Tomaso Buzzi in the late 1950s with stairs and bridges that lead no where, this enchanting and mysterious place becomes the set of a campaign for the first time and is transformed to express a dream filled with flowers and plants.

The new special edition of the CHIME FOR CHANGE Zine amplifies the voices of Black women and girls in gender violence discourses to uplift their stories, advance a gender-inclusive narrative in the movement for Black lives, and demand intersectional justice.
Created in collaboration with the African American Policy Forum and guest-edited by Kimberlé Crenshaw, the CHIME Zine is dedicated to the #SayHerName campaign—first launched in December 2014 to bring awareness to the often-invisible names and stories of Black women and girls who have been victimized by police violence.
This podcast episode features the stories of three Black women who were victims of police violence. Their stories will be told by family members who carry forth their legacy—mothers and sisters who are also contributors to the Zine.
You will hear from Gina Best, the mother of India Kager who was killed by Virginia Beach police in 2015; then Maria Moore, the sister of Kayla Moore who was killed by Berkeley police in 2013; and to conclude, Melania Brown, the sister of Layleen Xtravaganza Cubilette-Polanco, who died in solitary confinement at Rikers Island jail in June 2019.

Australian punk band Amyl and the Sniffers like to get rowdy on stage. Their energetic performances—and tour moments—were captured by photographer Jamie Wdziekonski for the House’s digital collaborative project #GucciGig, where musicians and artists created original work to represent their live performance wearing Gucci Eyewear designed by Alessandro Michele. Seen on Instagram, the House recently launched #GucciGig: a collaborative project inviting musicians and artists to work together in representing their live performance in illustrations, photography and videos, characterized by backstage and onstage reportage, fan art and gig flyer design. Behind this original art are 12 musicians including American soul singer Curtis Harding interviewed for this episode by art critic and a writer, Antwaun Sargent. For the #GucciGig project which unites musicians with artists to create original works, photographer and drummer Matt Correia worked with the illustrator John Zabawa to create color-drenched 1960s-inspired posters that show Harding in profile rendered in purple and green—inspired by Curtis Harding’s music and style.

First seen in the Gucci Spring Summer 2019 fashion show in Paris, Zumi Rosow walked the runway carrying her namesake Gucci Zumi bag.
In this episode, writer and model Georgia Graham talks to Zumi Rosow, the inspiration and muse behind the new bag collection: Gucci Zumi. As well as making bespoke jewellery, modelling and acting, she is an experimental musician who plays the saxophone for the punk rock band The Black Lips and the musical saw for her band Crush. She is joined by Los Angeles based poet Alaska Lynch, who has written a collection of poems dedicated to her. These poems have been adapted and published in a special mini book and are featured alongside illustrations by Alex Merry of the Gucci Zumi line.

Under the banner ‘To Gather Together’ CHIME FOR CHANGE released its new campaign identity earlier this year in vivid yellow and black and white graphics created by visual artist MP5, and the first issue of the CHIME Zine, edited by community organizer and writer Adam Eli, which features model Hanne Gaby’s account of being born intersex and her campaigning to end intersex surgery on infants and children, as well as a poem written about Joan of Arc in 1429, amongst multiple other contributions from around the world. The film explores the roles played by history, technology, geography and race that lead to the creation and emergence of techno as a sound in an industrial birthplace city.

Talking about the documentary ‘Everybody in The Place’ the director Jeremy Deller, and Matthew McLean, Frieze Studio’s Senior Editor. Part of ‘Second Summer of Love’, a four-part series in collaboration with Frieze, the film focuses on the acid house genre in London and, based on a real-life lecture given to a class of students, it explores the social history of the UK between 1985 and 1993 through the lens of acid house and rave music.

Female friendships, coming of age and the metamorphosis a girl makes into becoming a woman and her authentic self. The themes behind fragrance Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori inspired 15 young female creatives to design and write original works for Gucci’s Instagram. Inside their drawings and images are texts that together tell a story which is sometimes personal, comical and intimate. In this episode, produced in partnership with Man Repeller and their podcast Monocycle, host Leandra Medine sits down with three artists from the project in an eccentric Brooklyn apartment to talk about their work. The artists convey their ideas in diverse ways. Emma Allegretti’s character wants to be like everyone else so she concocts a Acqua Di Fiori potion. She transforms, only to realize her own self is unique and beautiful. Joy Miessi was inspired by her favorite park Hampstead Heath for her series of drawings and words that tell a story about herself and her friends spending time there. Amber Vittoria’s illustrations represent the women around her and her own evolution as a creative.
