Rumor has it that the Mount Washington Hotel is part of the inspiration behind Stephen King and Stanley Kubrick's versions of The Shining.

And for good reason. Not only is this place supposedly haunted by the ghost of Carolyn Stickney, but it's also PACKED with people who like to wear masks and have a ball!
