Helping single mums break hold of debt and create the financial freedom they deserve.

Saving regularly is a habit

Starting her money journey was extremely hard she says, because it meant that she had to open up and admit that she didn't have it all together. Natalye had to tell people that she was homeless and she was not ready to share that.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

However once she did, it freed her and has been continuing on this journey ever since, now working towards my financial independence goal.

Get Help - She told someone about her financial situation and they sent her to an organisation called Christians against poverty where she enrolled on their free personal finance course.

Read a personal finance book - books (as well as water) is life. Its education/knowledge for a fraction of the price of a course and or degree.⠀⠀⠀

Be Open with your financial situation with people -Natalye-Marrie is not saying tell the world, but what she did was whenever there was an event coming up, she would tell friends or family members how much she could contribute beforehand because she's clearing down debts. That opened up wonderful conversations. By being transparent, you're giving permission to others to be transparent too. Money should be discussed all the time.

Create a budget - Can't stress this enough but creating a budget is empowering. You now control where your money goes. Budgets are not supposed to be restrictive. They are there to tell your money where to go and they help control your spending and they help you reach your money goal

Clear debts - All the points above contributes to clearing debt. Now you have more money to invest with.
