Yeah its bad. Even Marvel has to mess up sometimes. Maybe have a better protagonist. Or a story. Or something. Even the Bollywood dance was weak sauce. At least we can hope they don't make another one and if they do hopefully Harry Styles won't continue playing Starfox cuz he was terrible.

Comic books are good. They are an amazing form that is now getting the proper translation to the big and small screens. A lot times they get it right but a lot of times they get it wrong. The main issue being that comics go on and on and on - many of the characters have been around for 50+ years, in numerous comics. There must be thousands of stories to pick from when it comes to someone like Spiderman. So it takes the ability to synthesize a good 2 hour story out of 50+ years of content. That is hard. So lets applaud them for the successes and brace ourselves for more failures. The good news is that at least they are trying.
