The Wachowski's changed cinema with the Matrix. They keep trying to have another defining film by moving in a thousand different directions and sadly it has not really worked out too great. This movie is kind of campy fun but it never really comes tougher and that is sad because there is some good stuff hiding away in a movie that is too noisy a lot of the time and and can't quite hit the quiet moments. Oh well......
Hate Watching is a show that sometimes verges on movie reviews when we are not careful.

The Trilogy. As a kid we loved it. We fall in love with a movie and then they make 2 more and rake in the big cash. Most of the time we get to that third movie and we realize that the initial idea really didn't need to be revisited that third time (remember the Ewoks). Some franchises start and then keep going to varying levels of success (think Alien vs Aliens). Now we are sitting here waiting for 3-5 more Avatar movies. Is there a hunger for these movies? Who knows. But we may find out. Zack Snyder envisioned a whole bunch more JLA movies and he is never gonna get them because Joss Whedon stepped in and made a garbage movie. What's my point? Like I have a point. I guess it is that sometimes more is just more......
