Disa Lee Choun, head of Global clinical sciences and operations innovation at UCB, a Belgium-based multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company. Disa is also co-leading the first PHUSE blockchain working group (non-profit) and was named Top 100 tech women, advisor entrepreneur by the Financial times 100 most influential BAME leader. Disa has years of experience working on technology and innovation especially in the pharmaceutical industry. Her passion is working on closing the gap for patients with unmet needs and exploring/implementing the right technologies (Blockchain, IoT, AI/machine learning, robotics, data discovery tools, and others) to accelerate the implementation of End to End patient solution. On January 28th and on February 19, the donor, (who has previously donated USD to the hospital), sent about $400k in bitcoin to Cape Cod Healthcare. That’s a total of about $800k in bitcoin which the hospital immediately converted to USD.
