Matt came on the podcast to talk about Zombie Apocalypse’s new album called “Life Without Pain is a Fucking Fantasy” their first in over 15 years and what the writing process was like working on the album with Ronen Kauffman and Eric Dellon over a period of almost 6 years! We delve into the nature of the album and talk about some of its more tongue and cheek aspects but also its inherent seriousness. He talks about how Metallica’s Master of Puppets changed his musical interests and even inspired the melodic aspect of his guitar playing, theres quite a bit of music talk intwined in this episode but all in all, you’ll hear where each one of those influences and other genres we discuss really shaped “Life Without Pain is a Fucking Fantasy”
