Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guest for this episode is “A.L.N.” the multi instrumentalist behind the project Mizmor. “A.L.N.” was kind enough to give me some of his time to discuss the writing and recording process for his new album “Cairn” This is the FIRST podcast he has ever done and his insightfulness into his process was extremely eye opening. He discussed how he experimented with sound to make sure his performances were up to his standard by really dialing in his guitar tone through pedals and amps also purchasing a new guitar and really overhauling all of his equipment to deal with the amount of sound he pushes through it. We also discuss some philosophies of Albert Camus as well as the themes of Religion and loss of religion along with depression and suicide in the records over the years. “Cairn” can be streamed now on all major platforms and bought through Gilead Media
