Holy shit! we finally finished a full year of coverage (a little behind schedule) with this being our final 1987 episode! We delve into the roots and beginnings of Black Metal with Venom’s “Calm Before the Storm” two epic yet differnt forms of Doom Metal emerge with Candlemass “Nightfall” and The Melvins “Gluey Porch Treatments” and German thrash band Sodom release their 2nd album and gain a ton of traction in the Thrash Metal world showing that the genre has cemented its place world wide.
