Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guest this week is Josh Perrin, founding member/guitarist/vocalist of the Philadelphia based Death Metal band Basilysk. Josh came on the podcast to discuss the writing and recording of their new album “Emergence” and album thats taken almost a decade of hard work and determination to get this album done. Josh talks about the years of keeping the band alive through line up changes, the decline of the music scene and what its like to make an album for a band thats on a self produced budget.
