Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History, my guest this week is my first female guest which is long over due in terms of having that representation on the podcast. I got to sit and chat with Larissa Stupar, vocalist of the England based Death Metal band Venom Prison. Larissa and I discuss a lot of deep topics about female representation in heavy metal, her roots in the metal scene, how she pushed herself vocally for this record and how personal the writing process was for her this time around as well as all the work the band put into their upcoming 2nd album “Samsara” due out March 15th on Prosthetic Records.
