This week Miranda speaks with Enrique Figueredo, a Venezuelan American artist and an assistant professor of practice at the University of Texas at Austin. They talk about his travels around the Southwest, visiting some of the earliest churches in what we now call the United States and making rubbings from the inscriptions on the walls, as well as his potential family connection to the region. They also talk about being curious about people's migration and seeking out the histories you weren’t taught in school.
