In what may be one of the most entertaining episodes of any Real Housewives franchise, we bear witness to several mic drop moments from women who have honed skills of verbal battle. Early on, we see our gruff Tater Todd, arms folded, and delivering a stern performance review of "did not meet expectations" to his direct report. Then, a fairytale presentation of Mary's Breakfast at Tiffany's event is littered with butlers, decor, and vitriol as the women address beefs old and new. Despite wearing thick winter garb, Heather comes in hot and aiming for Bronwyn, Angie and Meredith face off, Meredith and Whitney have a run in, everyone comes for Meredith's unique hairpiece choice, and Britani continues to look for love and attention in all the wrong places.

The season premier starts with a bang as OG Dorit awakens from her long slumber. With plenty to say about PK, and after shaking off her Fox Force minion garb for armor to fight self appointed clique lead Kyle, Dorit stand out as the true showman of the episode. Several iconic moments unfurl before our weary eyes - Dorit puffing on a cigarette in her luxury SUV en route to Kathy's, Kathy getting an infusion mid-glam while listening to Dorit's separation tale like a wise Beverly Hills oracle, and Garcelle's realization that everyone in the group is now divorced or separated. We meet the new housewife, Bozoma 'Boze', an exciting addition who may be our first corporate businesswoman cast member, who was surprised to witness Kathy pulling her extensions out mid-event. If this episode is any indication, it's going to be a good season and we're long overdue!

After a rant about Spotify's current policy to only allow for 12 hours of audio book listening per month, we check back in with the OC ladies as they continue their reunion. Should Katie be blamed for her daughter being a TikTok star who made a funny video about her mother's rivals? Can Emily understand that not everyone is a lawyer and, if they were, her career choice would be obsolete? Will Alexis recognize that she's been trained to be a mouthpiece for a scorned man? Does Heather understand that yelling at women whose children think she's mean does not help her case? We find answers to these questions and more in Part two of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
WOMEN'S RIGHTS: Help pressure Biden to pass the Equal Rights Amendment that would give women protections in the Constitution before his term ends. Call the White House at (202) 456-1111 or text at (302) 404-0880 and simply say, "I’m calling to urge President Biden to make publication of the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution a priority before the end of his term." So easy. The 28th Amendment to the Constitution would make sure no one faces gender discrimination and would help protect women against gender-based violence, banning birth control, and unequal pay. Without an amendment giving women equal rights, those injustices are harder to protect against. Call and tell a friend!
SHIRT: Go to https://merchymerch.printful.me/ for the shirt that serves as a reminder that seeing our government burn at the hands of mediocre men means we'll rebuild from its ashes. All proceeds are going to charity.

The cast trip to celebrate Bronwyn's anniversary in Palm Springs is on its final leg as Bronwyn's husband, Todd (a.k.a. Tater Todd), is on his last nerve. Whitney and Lisa manage to settle their Alibaba beef but Lisa and Bronwyn don't come to a good place about their disconnect regarding Heather, and Meredith manages to start a new issue with Sean about her perception of a comment he made on a podcast...which have become the uncredited housewife in too many franchises. The group goes on a racecar outing, we learn intimate information at a group dinner that will pop-up in my mind a decade from now, Bronwyn is gifted a $4M diamond necklace, and we get more insight into her relationship dynamic with Tater Todd. Also - Lisa spirals when she has to ride home in coach, hence the title of the episode
BONUS: I made a "Let it burn, it's how men learn" shirt that you can check out at https://merchymerch.printful.me/, all proceeds going to charity, and I'm focused on the movement to pressure Biden to pass the Equal Rights Amendment that would finally give women Constitutional protection before his term ends. Join me in calling the White House at (202) 456-1111 or text at (302) 404-0880 and simply say, "I’m calling to urge President Biden to make publication of the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution a priority before the end of his term." The news that John Mellencamp's daughter, a self proclaimed "accountability coach", has been having an ongoing affair with her horse trainer (despite his wife Karli giving birth alone as he was off with the Tedster, then finding out, believing them that it was over, and then having to find out again with a newborn) led to an unexpected side-quest into researching the world of California equestrians. After a discussion on the awful details, and why I view affairs on a scale of varying factors, we delve into what the hell is happening on the RHONY reboot. With the latest episode detailing a third attempt at a rehearsed storyline in as many months, the cast seems to be floundering to fill air time with authenticity. BONUS: trademarking my mantra for our new political dumpster fire era, "Let it burn, that's how men learn"

As the ladies of Salt Lake City jet off to a lavish Palm Springs vacation, tensions remain high between newly sparring couples. Heather dishes to Meredith and Lisa about her confrontation with Bronwyn, and that conversation serves as a catalyst for issues later in the episode. From the push-fest between John and Justin at Angie's anniversary party, to lingering Alibaba accusations, to the simmering resentment brewing between Lisa and trip host Bronwyn, no amount of custom jewelry could distract the ladies from their ongoing battles. The episode ends on a To Be Continued after Todd and Bronwyn deliver an ultimatum to their guests because he has apparently never seen any Real Housewives show before. BONUS: Telling you about the MARTHA doc I'm currently watching on Netflix and how private equity has come full circle for the SLC husbands

After a Veteran's Day tirade, and an update on a self loathing elven incel, we get cozy on the couches for Reunion Part 1 for the Real Housewives of Orange County. This episode was packed with confrontations - Tamra's ongoing focus of Shannon's alcohol consumption, Jen's relationship and Ryan's level of involvement with the bookie gambling scandal (that I detailed in my podcast dive on Ippei Mizuhara), Emily's confidence that she figured out something nefarious about Ryan that the FEDS missed, and an attempted hit job on Katie that backfires on Heather and Emily.

As frenzied incel energy swirls around us, there's never been a better time to learn about the 4B movement, step up your personal safety strategies, and seek inspiration from women who stood up to the same kinds of threats, intimidation, and misogyny - and who ended up becoming historical figures for it. There's also never been a better time to find a good book or show to help soothe the nerves. I review the new series, "Rivals" (on Hulu and Disney +) with a summary of its 1980's English countryside plotline, including my opinions on the draw of its enemies to lovers story, and why it's winning so many people over.
Bonus: an excerpt from my latest romantasy book "Steel Heart, Iron Claws" and why you may want to stock up on romantasy books and other goods that may soon be deemed illicit

The masses made their choice for the next President and I have some thoughts on what that means, what got us here, and what the hell we do now. Whether you focus on misinformation campaigns from foreign governments that cultivated seeds of discontent a la Cambridge Analytica, or core values of racial bias and white supremacy that continue to linger, or the resistance of over 34% of our citizens to realize the power of their vote, there's no shortage of factors that contributed. As an homage to facts and figures, we review key metrics that served as a focus of hate and division in our ongoing culture war before addressing what we can try to do in the coming years to stay safe and sane.

Hold my hand on election day and listen as I ramble a summary of the latest Real Housewives of Orange County episode between rants. Axe throwing, isometric crunches, and stucco climbing, what doesn't this episode have? As Tamrat switches strategies, Jen's engagement means an engagement party complete with a "tacky 80's bridesmaid's dress" theme brought to us by the mind of Alexis. Drama ensues for every rivalry as Shannon bumps heads with an unexpected challenger - Katie's husband Matt. And no, we don't escape the finale without having to see Johnny Dbags. Bonus: a new IG-esque ending template makes me rage.

Relaying adventures of record-breaking, swing-state canvassing for Kamala Harris over the weekend before delving into the follow up of a "To Be Continued..." episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Angie's 25th Anniversary party continues to serve as the backdrop for Alibaba rumorszzz and aggression between the Barlow's and Roses. A major point of contention is when John Barlow repeatedly gets in between Justin and Lisa as he hears F bombs being directed at her - Whitney blames Lisa for causing her husband's awful reaction and I take a moment to reflect on the toxicity of that viewpoint. Bronwyn plans a couples trip and has to decide who to invite, which results in a conversation with Heather that quickly turns sour.

Also, a list of grievances with ACOTAR that have popped up during the dramatic and breathy audiobook. The final days of the London trip come to a chaotic conclusion as Shannon struggles to get feces out of her body - and friend group. The toxic entity that is the Tamrat/Tambat/Tamratputin has regrouped after being read to filth by Jen and recalculated to target Katie and bring up any possible spec of dirt it has on Shannon, regardless of collateral damage. Despite drama involving children, and getting emotional about being perceived as mean, Heather continues to support her new bestie. Jen and Gina shine in their respective moments of acknowledging manipulation, calling out bad behavior, and setting boundaries.

This episode centers around Angie's 25th Anniversary celebration where the cast takes the opportunity to be in a room with zero sound dampening as their backdrop for multiple confrontations. Bronwyn calls Heather to the mat about her meddling and hypocrisy, Mary and Lisa also air their grievances to Heather, and Britani gets a shock when Whitney's husband decides he wants to get into women's business and stir up mess. The event culminates with Whitney Drew's extensive investigation into Lisa Barlow, including a comprehensive presentation of receipts and evidence, just kidding, Whitney has nothing but the word of a random account so Lisa goes off and calls in her cyber cavalry.

An update on the journey into A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) before a recap of an episode that revealed family secrets and connections between Lisa and Bronwyn, showing a heartbreaking and endearing side of this season's new cast member. Meanwhile, Whitney continues to hunt for a conspirator that she believes is responsible for alerting the internet about her jewelry line, Prism, having an apparent copy on Alibaba. By the end of the episode, she's confident about finding the "truth"...all based on the word of a stranger who runs an online account. Finally, Britany wears us out with more camera time for her gum chewing Osmond offshoot, Lisa vows to stop caring about it, and Mary continues to bring comedic relief due to her irritation of it all.

Tensions rise as the Real Housewives of Orange County tour London, work through conflicts, and absorb the revelation that Shannon found a text defining Alexis' role in the lawsuits from years ago. Tamra continues to talk crap about everyone, Heather has lingering hurt feelings post-mammogram outing, and Shannon finds another jaw dropping text - this time from Tamra. Jen shines in this episode, filling my heart with pride as we watch the sweet baby dove take fight and turn into a bird of prey, on the hunt for a little Tamrat. Lots of Orange County social media drama happened this weekend as Tamra dealt with the consequences of a highly inaccurate statement she made on Watch What Happens Live and Shannon weathered yet another storm. Then, episode twelve shares the news of Shannon's ex demanding $75k hitting the press, her reaction, and an unfortunate butt dial that gives Tamra more fodder. A dinner party at Katie's house is the main focus as Ryan and Jen finally come face to face with Eddie and Tamra to address podcast comments and perceptions in a calm and mature manner...jk, Tamra has too many martinis and it goes off the rails.

The focus of this episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County is a tumultuous taco party that ends with Emily cursing Alexis out and me feeling alive. Take my hand and come on a side quest into a stream of consciousness about Bravo News of the week and two new movie releases. This pod answers questions like: What's the latest about Jax and Brittany? Who were the SLC newbies again and what are cast members fighting about online? Are any new movies worth watching? In anti-spoiler fashion, overarching themes and intro details of movies are shared, but major plotlines are spared. You'll get an idea of why I liked Dinner In America without knowing everything that makes this indie movie about a punk rock band and a young woman struggling to be herself, a cult classic in the making. Likewise, you'll get a snapshot of the characters and direction of Netflix's Rebel Ridge without feeling like you've already seen it. BONUS: background on "civil asset forfeiture", a rant on child marriage laws in this country, and why I love the History Channel show, ALONE.

The Utah ladies come into their 5th season with a bang. We see them gather, swathed in furs and PVC, at Lisa's "besos" party. Meant to celebrate these dearest of friendships, the event quickly devolves into unbridled grievances from last season. We learn about new cast members and watch them navigate the chaos, walking the tight rope of being memorable without establishing a feud - a challenge one newbie fails right out of the gate. In what is hopefully the last and final dive into exes Luis and Vanessa, we wrap up their contentious 2020 legal battle that dissolved their engagement and pivot to newer allegations of undercover patients, secretly recorded therapy sessions, hacking, and spyware from separate cases filed in 2023 and 2024. Per the last season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Vanessa's 2023 request for a Permanent Restraining Order is reviewed as well as a 2024 case that introduced allegations of hacking and wiretapping.

Back to Sonoma we go! The ladies forest bathe, make biscuits, drink wine, and Tamra puts her finger in Emily's butt. They all participate in Heather's fashion show to support Family Equality but Emily takes issue with comments and treatment that feels different from the other women. The group bears witness to further evidence that nothing Shannon does will allow her to be released from her ex's crosshairs. Alexis realizes the group is not enjoying the constant barrage against Shannon, and quickly switches tactics, while Gina once again must weather accusations of plotting to set up Katie in what would be the Bravosphere's most boring and nonsensical hit job. No-spoiler reviews of five and a half new Romantasy books including both the "Godkissed Bride" and "Castles of the Eyrie" trilogies from Evie Marceau, as well as the initial premise of "A Court of Thorns and Roses". Then we delve into another beloved heroine's quest as we continue to watch Shannon be emotionally terrorized at the hands of her ex and his pick-me minion, but this time in a beautiful Sonoma spa setting! The episode is full of surprises as the ladies support Heather's launch of a champagne line with proceeds going to Family Equality, and rally around Shannon as she learns of the video threat hanging over her head and makes a final decision about her ex's demand for $75k. Book reviews last 18min, RHOC recap begins after that.

A rant about high-stakes games we're forced to play when dealing with American healthcare, reading two hyped romantasy books in two days, and a recap of Real Housewives of Orange County/The Shannon Show. The second part of the dive into a lengthy court case that resulted from a dramatic breakup between Luis Ruelas and Vanessa Reiser in 2020, a relationship that has continued to produce legal issues well into 2024. Court documents detail allegations of missing engagement rings, mistreatment, money transfers, and outbursts at charity events involving Seth Meyers, Jake Gyllenhaal, and the foundation of beloved actor/Veteran's advocate Gary Sinise. Ex-husbands and ex-fiancée's are brought up, as well as allegations of Catfishing and ex's in cahoots.

An audio version of my 2021 Instagram dive where a cursory search to learn more about Teresa's new man, Luis Ruelas, led to a lengthy court case with his ex-fiancée, Vanessa Reiser. The winding tale and transcripts seemed to be the source for multiple news articles about his character. A thorough review of the case painted a picture of a dysfunctional relationship, one that both parties should be thrilled to be free of, yet their legal drama has continued into 2024. We start with a story about a bitter breakup, where it all began. Future parts will follow the journey that led it to became fodder and weaponry between cast members on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

A random side quest to explain the layered drama surrounding the premier of the Colleen Hoover adaptation of "It Ends With Us" that has people wondering why the cast seems so divided and why the Director/Lead, Justin Baldoni, and Producer/Lead, Blake Lively, have such differing views on what the movie is about and how it's being marketed to viewers.

A rundown of two RHOC episodes that focus on Katie's desire to expose what she believes is a lie from Heather about setting up paparazzi pictures, with a text from L.A.'s Pap Czar as proof. Gina stresses over Katie talking about Heather because nothing says true friendship like fear of repercussions. Tamra and Emily can't resist getting all up in the mess as Tamra also manages to maintain solid footing atop a very high horse about her ex-amiga Shannon, piling on Alexis' relentless pursuit of camera time, justice for her two-bit boyfriend, and the $75k he allegedly gave to Shannon during their relationship. Gina and Emily maintain their critiques of Jen living well despite financial ruin and the Dubrow's shameless name dropping continues to serve as a solid replacement for ipecac, handy in an emergency but unwelcome in daily life. Dolores' dream of healing the great divides by facilitating an airing of the grievances goes sideways as insults fly and rivalries intensify. The last supper's official co-host, Jen Fessler, exits stage left at the first sign of discord and Dolores is left to handle the group on her own. As old vendettas are rekindled and a new shocking discovery is revealed, the group confirms the level of dysfunction and side plotting that has taken over the show. We witness a bittersweet, mostly bitter, potential end to what has been a pillar franchise of the RH world.

Promises of a healing retreat, rumors of a meeting to reveal treachery, and rival boyzz nights are the highlights of this episode. As Dolores continues her soon to be pointless search for a grand retreat, Joe Gorga and Luis have rival boyzz nights with very different agendas, but the main focus is a sit-down with Teresa's lawyer/friend who will share groundbreaking information about Marge's involvement with Luis' ongoing court case with his ex-fiancée. This episode picks up where the blowup at the coffee shop between Gina and Jen left off, the ladies all feel that Jen should have avoided financial difficulties while she remains glammed and confused as to what she could have done differently. A game of flag football brings the group together and gives them an opportunity to apologize and move on - except for Shannon and Alexis who have a battle over a boutique gym and trainer. Speaking of moving, Travis moves out of Gina's home as she sticks to her guns about protecting her financial stability and not wanting his divorce drama to become something they can't survive. Emily shares her challenges with her new fitness focused lifestyle, Shane shines in a confessional, Katie continues to build her beef with Heather as Sutton makes a cameo and advises against it - and Heather has to wear polyester.

Episode two picks up as Alexis and Shannon have just finished their lawsuit/John D.B. Jansen focused spat. We see Shannon survive more tests and feats of emotional strength, including a face off with former bestie Tamra, before the party wraps - and all in sky high heels no less. Shannon and Heather meet and find a way forward despite Heather's friendship with Alexis. Tamra expresses her ongoing concern for Jen's finances and relationship to Eddie over a biker lunch. We learn more about Katie's background and Emily gets everyone ready for a flag football game. Gina's disappointment in Jen's eviction and what it means to her reputation, stews and spreads throughout the episode until the two finally meet, but instead of squashing their beef, it grows and consumes everyone in the small coffee shop.

We see Jesse and Jax finally facing repercussions for their shortcomings as husbands. Meanwhile, Michelle and Britney appear to have found peace and stability being on their own, despite both having to move themselves and their children out of their family homes. While Jesse has mostly accepted his harsh new reality, Jax doesn't seem to grasp the severity of the situation as he continues to gaslight a fed up Britney and cancels a long awaited therapy session - we can only assume he'll wait to work on himself for the cameras when Season 2 begins filming.

Britney continues to show consideration and kindness to Jax by getting his family there, and Jax continues to say he's stressed when she brings up his shortcomings. Bonus: we discover and walk through the full menu at Jax's.

An introduction to Jax's new girlfriend before a recap of the final big bear episode that wraps up with a surprise baby shower and fantasy cosplay dinner. We learn that Danny can catch a fish and is a real person with flaws but, more importantly, is quick to apologize for them. The spirit of Harry Styles serves as Jesse's wingman, Britney reaches a new milestone about her marriage, and Janet tries to stay positive about giving birth after hearing stories from the moms. The episode includes a quick proof of life check-in on Kristin and Luke and a sobering reminder of why no-fault divorce is important to fight for.

We kick off a new season of New Jersey with an explanation of conflicts from last season's reunion, past and present social media drama, and accusations from ex-wives. To watch Jersey is to become an expert at navigating a volatile quagmire of emotions that remains consistent even as children head off to college and Nonna's bring focaccia. The episode centers around different groups, that now won't interact, as they come together for the first time at a birthday party for the neutral friend to all involved that is Jen Fessler.

The Big Bear babymoon trip continues with underwhelming confrontations, women reaching their boiling points, husbands lamenting relationship issues while seeming obtuse about their own shortcomings, and petty social media moves from the uninvited. Highlights include: Brittany finally snapping and unleashing pent up rage upon Jax after he relentlessly accused her of being intoxicated vs nauseated, Jason and Janet dubbing this trip a "babymoon from hell", and the menfolk misusing the term "Napoleon complex". Also discussed is the 2023 movie Napoleon and the 1990's drug Trimspa that Jesse once modeled for with Anna Nicole Smith.

A rat encounter video from Kyle Richards provided sheer joy and amusement this week, relive the moment before a recap of the Valley's latest drama, this time at an increased elevation. We see the cast learning to accept the strict babymoon invite list as cliques and continued misunderstandings abound. In Big Bear, relationship issues are exacerbated by struggling couples, because having an audience makes things more fun.

The fractured "valley crew" continues to navigate life post-Pushfest where icing out Kristin is the remedy of choice. Meanwhile, Kristin focuses on her t-shirt company and sampling reptilian cuisine. A group hibachi and game night highlights relationship issues and furthers the friendship divide, then Kristin's event follows suit, and the drama continues with an awkward announcement about a group trip...minus some of the group.

This episode is a direct result of the ask from Mica Miller's family, after she was found deceased on April 27, 2024, for anyone who does deep dives to look into her circumstances. Mica was allegedly seeking a divorce from her preacher husband who stated that her passing was self inflicted in a sermon he gave the day after she was found.
This podcast provides a summary of the situation as it has been presented to the general public and shares independent research sourced from: newspaper articles, court documents, Myrtle Beach publications, interviews and sermons from Mica's preacher husband, Mica's family and friends, and Mica's own words as shared on her social media pages.
Mica's family established the #justiceformicamiller hashtag that can be used to find information and research being done by armchair detectives across all platforms.

An episode that Bravo fans hoped would bring answers to questions like: What consequences will there be for Pushfest? What ramifications will befall Jesse for getting physical with the group and requiring two producers to get involved? What terse words will Jax have for his bro after learning that his wife was nearly trampled? How will Zach move on from Jesse treating him like a slow motion crash dummy testing the structural integrity of a hotel hallway?
The episode picks back up at the conference room dinner that is now garnished with filming ultimatums, before bringing us to another informative boyz night, highlighting new issues between Luke and Kristen, existing ones between the Lally's, and we see Jax finally take Britney out for a date night - only to make her cry.

Full recap of the episode where Jesse bulldozes through a hallway of people while wearing a graph paper suit. The journey of the episode spans expanding our knowledge of Luke's life in Colorado, Kristin's conviction that she's a great friend to Michelle, Jax's love of gossip and being compensated for dramatizing hair loss, Jesse's plans to assess his ego through psychedelics, and Britney's intent to be included in the opening of Jax's bar.
The arguments that lead up to the pushfest are as enlightening as the event itself, with Jesse in full delusion mode and Michelle eager to pawn him off to either a pop-up shop lady or Britney's mawmaw.

The NSFW finale of the Erika Jayne Vegas residency documentary focuses on high stakes drama of lackadaisical gyrating just prior to the show's opening night at House of Blues. We learn a variety of fun facts, from Erika's reiterated belief that Tom is suffering from cognitive decline, to her team's stance that their true opinions of her performance can't be caught on camera, to Mikey's singular vision of what a lady amidst pleasure looks like. Between ego, delusion, contrived drama, and donuts, this documentary had it all.
Thanks to the good people of Reddit and online comment boards, we quote reviews from Bravo fans and alleged attendees of the Vegas show.

A recap of the pussy pattin' propaganda documentary of Erika Girardi's "comeback" as Erika Jayne via a Vegas residency at the House of Blues in August 2023. We watch low impact dance rehearsals and witness her fond memories of Tom, whom she still seems to enjoy describing at his professional peak. We hear her reminisce about her old life of obscene wealth and spending before lamenting her Vegas show's current budget and trying in vain to secure $100k more. Denied by the showrunner for already being over budget, and failing to get a personal loan, our heroine must overcome the odds...and the show must go on.
This recap is of the first half of the 2-hour special, due to fatigue. The second half will be posted separately.

A rundown of the 2016 Secret Service led prosecution of Chris Psaila, half of the celebrated L.A. design house, Marco Marco, after Erika Girardi's allegations of $787, 117.88 worth of fraudulent charges on an AMEX card Tom paid but had begun to object to, with Volkswagen asking, "Now why am I in it?"
A review of Chris' 2023 lawsuit allegations that Erika's longtime choreographer Mikey Minden, assistant Laia, and an AMEX representative/investigator also played a role in maliciously prosecuting him, plus a description of his receipts filled with texts, sketches, and images supporting legitimate charges for goods and services that challenge his now dismissed indictment that could have resulted in over 150 years in prison. Just this month, Erika lost an attempt to dismiss his lawsuit and a Secret Service buddy of Tom's filed to remove himself from this narrative. After listening to this pod, you'll understand why.
Content discussed and reviewed is pulled directly from lawsuit filings, L.A. Times articles, statements made on the Housewife and Hustler HULU documentaries, and a generic legal definition of anti-SLAPP laws. A recap and opinion of Hulu's second documentary detailing crimes spearheaded by Tom Girardi and the Girardi | Keese law firm. Failings of the California Bar Association are highlighted as well as the current status of ongoing legal battles for both Tom and Erika, including an overview of the Marco Marco lawsuit referenced on an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she mentioned wearing a wire in a federal investigation. The 2-hour documentary also provided an update on several client-victims and focused on a group who welcomed a sit-down with Erika in the hopes that she would no longer refer to them as "alleged".
This recap cites the Hulu documentary and L.A. Times articles.

In this dive we learn more about the chaotic path the custom made earrings have taken that involves multiple robberies, a lengthy HOA lawsuit, and a dalliance with tax authorities, all of which led to the bankruptcy trustee having ample documentation when the time came to confirm items purchased with client funds. We also review bad karma origins of another piece from the "Girardi Collection" and contrast Erika's desire to hold onto the spoils of ill-gotten goods with others who were eager to part with lavish gifts unknowingly funded by Tom's clients.
This dive cites information from multiple L.A. Times and N.Y. Times articles, as well as court case filings.
