Now let's get into some history babe 👉General George Custer was a good midwestern boy with nice golden hair. He wasn’t the best student but said he wanted to fight wars and says I’m off to New York and studied at West Point! He was a Civil War hero and went on to fight more wars, like the Long Plains Indian War. Whites and Indigenous people fighting for what is today U.S territory. The battle of Little Big Horn took place in Montana and lasted 2 days in June 1876.

The battle was BRUTES as he and his men totaled 650 people fighting what ended up being thousands of warriors. It was a victory for the good guys, the Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho Indians. This episode is about Gandhi and there are a few UNCOMFORTABLE truths about this Cuzzie. One of the most peaceful guys around, Ghandi was a civil rights leader from Porbandar, India. After living in South Africa and experiencing apartheid, Ghandi returned to India to gain independence from British rule.

The kid liked to walk around half naked and promote the revolutionary idea that you can fight for something in a peaceful way. As you may know Gandhi was jailed for organizing protests, boycotting courts and more. He would even protest by refusing to eat for days. He famously protested the British salt tax and embarked on a month long walk to the Arabian Sea with thousands of people. And won! What a guy! But he also did some not good things. For example Gandhi believed in practicing celibacy and would “test” out his ability to refrain from lustful urges with young girls. GA-ROSSS! The Comanche were from the Great Plains, which is considered Colorado, Kansas Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico today. They were some vicious dope horsemen that did some brutal things. In fairness, the settlers did try to take their land, so many raidings from the Indians and the new settlers that became the Plains Indian war starting in the 1850s. One of the most WILDEST stories was from Cynthia Ann Parker, a settler who was kidnapped in 1836, at age 10, by the Comanche war band. She lived with the Comanche people for 25 years learning the Comanche ways and forgetting English altogether. What is even WILDER what happens when her white family raids her tribe 25 years later? It was the great Booker T Washington, who was once a slave and became an American educator, who believed that black people should not demand economic equality, but educational and slowly integrate. He was met with disagreement from other black leaders, specifically by W. E. B. Du Bois. Du Bois believed that whites would guarantee blacks to have political, economic and educational equality. 

The guys dig deeper into these ideas and make no mistake they discover that it doesn’t matter what you believe because reality is a suggestion!!!

Union General William T. Sherman led his troops from Atlanta to Savannah, Georgia decimating the land he marched through. He hurt the Confederates by destroying their factories and homes. Make no mistake Sherman did not play and had every intention to “make Georgia howl”!

Sherman was not a liberal. He was considered to support slavery, even quoted once by saying he believed that slavery was good for the black people.

The boys talk about the disturbing incident that destroyed "The Black Wall Street" killing 300 African Americans and has largely been lost to history! Mobs of white people of Tulsa Oklahoma took the streets on May 31st and June 1st 1921 after a miscommunication of a white girl was assaulted by a black boy. The white mob attacked black residents and businesses of the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma resulting in the The Tulsa Race Massacre. It was SO BRUTAL but we question why this isn't common knowledge today?
