Jason and Sean discuss the case of Jessy Kurczewski, who was convicted of murdering her friend and caretaker, Lynn Hernan. Hernan was found dead in her home, initially thought to be a drug overdose, but toxicology reports revealed a fatal dose of tetrahydrozoline, the main ingredient in eye drops.
Kurczewski was suspected due to her suspicious behavior and criminal record, and further investigation revealed that she had been stealing from Hernan and had made inconsistent statements about Hernan's death. Even after being convicted, Kurczewski continued to try to manipulate the case by writing a letter from prison instructing a friend to forge documents and create a fake audio recording to make it seem like Hernan had committed suicide.
