I just want to talk about the Bible
This is our first Q&A! I spend a few minutes answering the question of where a new believer should begin reading the Bible!
Here is one possible ordering of reading the Bible:
1) The Gospel according to Luke, Psalm 23, and Psalm 91
2) The Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, and John
3) Acts
4) The letters (Romans-Jude)
5) Revelation
6) Then begin reading through the Old Testament beginning with Genesis. I highly recommend listening to Episode 4 (Overview of the Old Testament) of this podcast once more when beginning this step.
At the same time, you can be reading through Proverbs at your own pace. Many people will read 1 chapter of Proverbs a day. There are 31 chapters; so, the number of chapters corresponds to the numbers of days in certain months. You can also be reading through the Psalms at your own pace.

I WANT TO BE DISCIPLED
I am on staff with another ministry called Mentoring Men for the Master (M3). M3 is a discipleship ministry; so, if you are interested in being discipled and having someone come alongside you to invest in you and your walk with Jesus, or if you would like to do this in someone else's life, feel free to email us at [email protected]. You can also check out M3's website by clicking "I want to be discipled". Also note that despite the ministry's name, M3 disciples both men and women; so, the offer is open to all!
