Hadith of Shepherds and Surah Al-Muminoon | Reflections Halaqa with Imam Khalid Latif | 11.22.2021 | ICNYU Virtual Halaqa

We’ll be looking at the relationship of this hadith عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ Abdullah ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. And the 8th verse of surah muminoon that says وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَٰعُونَ “And those who watch over their trusts and promises.” Join us every Monday night in person or via live stream as we continue our weekly Reflections Halaqa with Imam Khalid Latif.
