Dominic Kelly is a performance storyteller who has ventureddeep into the vast landscape of stories that surround the Irish mythological hero Cú Chulainn – so much so that he cycled around Ireland to see all the mythical places found in the Táin, sometimes called Ireland’s National Epic or the Irish Iliad.
We speak about engaging with myth, how stories like the Táin have the potential to ground us in reality, and if there's a value to violence told well.
