Inspired Evolution with Amrit Sandhu: A Mind, Body & Soul Podcast
In this episode of Inspired Evolution, we welcome the Ingenious Ryan Creed… co-founder of Life Cykel. Connecting people to their food by encouraging growing local and upcycling their waste to grow amazing super products and setting up a business around all of this with the clear intention to spread the power of this conscious initiative globally. Life Cykel now has coffee waste mushroom farms in Fremantle, Noosa, Byron Bay and is driving innovation and revolutionizing mainstream thinking.
Life Cykel sells microgreens, vegan protein, oyster mushrooms, and my favorite: medicinal (Traditional Chinese Herbalism) mushrooms. These tonics herbs are at the forefront of profound ancient paradigms of health. Assisting in the supplementation protocols of Taoist philosophy in supporting their three most values facests of health Jing, Qi and Shen.
Ryan and Julian at Life Cykle grow these superfoods and supplements from coffee grind wastes which would otherwise end up in a landfill and decomposing and creating toxic gases.
Now they're up-cykled to grow superfoods and if that wasn't impressive enough, we discuss at length the importance of setting up a business around all of this to extend this positivity towards its rightful global reach. This is The Blue Economy at it's finest ! Supporting Local Jobs, Support Local Environments and Individual and Planet health, supported by the advancement and innovation of conscious business models.
The message that if: Your idea is powerful and worth spreading, it doesn't just deserve to become a business – it needs to become a business to get the traction it needs for the betterment of individuals and the planet.
The Life Cykel team is Solid in their Intention. And in doing so is promoting growing local and in doing so is connecting city dwellers, rural and remote individuals and school children to their food. These are diverse communities and through the power of multiple successful and impressive crowd-funding campaigns, Life Cykel has again and again demonstrated: the power of community which naturally avails itself to back a powerful idea that can help move a society forward.
We discuss the importance of contribution to humanity and the planet and why it is important to contribute to something bigger than one's own self. We explore what an amazing time it is now where we have the advancements in technology and understanding to be able to implement such incredible initiatives such as the blue economy whereby continual upcycling is fast becoming reality. And we explore Ryan's non-conventional entrepreneurial journey, crowd-funding campaigns, his epic business partnership with Julian Mitchell and his mission.
This conversation is extremely valuable it shows you what you can accomplish if you get determined and take massive action. The power of community that stands behind positive intentions and visions. Ryan’s story conveys that everyone is here to achieve/deliver something different and makes us question everything we’ve thought about mainstream models of success and that success' direct relationship to the planet. In this conversation, we discuss Ryan Creed’s habits, hacks, philosophies, and tools that have formed the threads of his success, happiness, health, and wealth. This is a story about getting totally conscious about the entire Life Cykel of the process of life and one's role in it and taking inspired action to better humanity and the planet… All in one fell swoop !
