Even though we’re already more than half way through January, we’re finally talking about all the books we want to read in 2025. We have a long list of new (and old) books that we’re excited to jump into and also share some bookish goals we have. Kyleigh and Hannah would like to read around 100 books again this year and Micaela would just like to read more (which we’re here for!)
Come hang out with us on Instagram to see all of the books we’re excited to read!
Micaela is BACK this week for our reading wrap up of 2024! This was definitely a reread year for us. We go through some stats, as well as each of our favorite books for every month this year! We also chat through Micaela’s trip.
Come hang out with us on Instagram to see all of our wrap up stats and books!
Heads up: this episode is definitely not super funny because Micaela ABANDONED the group and was traveling around Europe with her cutie little fam. But don’t worry, Hannah and Kyleigh actually talked about books, some reading goals, and even managed to sneak a little F1 content in at the end.
Come hang out with us on Instagram and SOON we’ll be able to say: check out our youtube channel! (But not yet, because it doesn’t exist)
Warning: this episode contains spoilers for House of Sky and Breath and all of SJM’s books. Spoilers start early on so if you haven’t read HOSAB yet, come back when you’re done!
We can’t believe we ALMOST DONE with our SJM book club! This has been a whirlwind of a year and while we’re so thankful for this reread, we are ready to change it up next year. This is our shortest SJM book club episode but don’t worry, we’ll bring our a game for House of Flame and Shadow!

In today's epsidoe, we are going to be sharing the 10 books we each want to read before the end of 2024! This is a fun trend on bookstagram that we had to join in on. It’s highly likely that Kyleigh and Hannah will complete the challenge but the jury is still out on if Micaela will get it done. We have complete faith in her (kind of, Kyleigh bet her $100 so she's motivated now).

Join us for a spoiler free episode this week! We're playing a fun little game where we answer which character from the SJM or Harry Potter Universe would best fit the question. Which caracter would max out their credit card? Who is likely the end up in jail after a night out? What meal would you make if you were cooking for Rhysand and Draco Malfoy? Admittedly, our answers were more of a reflection of our favorite Slytherin characters that you get to know the more Dramione fanfics you read, so we used this as another opportunity to remind you that it is time to jump on the train if you haven't yet.

On this week’s episode we’ll be talking about the books we’ve read in June and also have our first ever guest on the podcast, Jenna! She is Micaela’s best friend from college, an avid fantasy reader, and an all around hilarious human being. During this episode we’ll share our June reads and ratings (this month was much better than May) and what we’re looking forward to reading next. Recording with Jenna was a blast: we laugh, we roast each other, and we get a little loud.
We apologize that the audio levels may be a little off this week - it's our first time recording with four people, so we're learning! We appreciate your understanding.

Join us for our first monthly wrap up episode! We’ll be going through all of the books we read during the month of May by rating and sharing what we loved and didn’t love so much. It was the weirdest reading month for Kyleigh, who had TWO 1-star ratings, Micaela only read four books, which is not the norm for her & Hannah had a handful of 5-star reads because she is better at picking books than Kyleigh is, clearly.
P.S. Apologies if you hear a wild Murphy barking in the background here and there – he just wanted to say hi!

We will be doing a deep dive into the first three books and sharing our thoughts surrounding the romance, the politics, and the absolute indecisiveness of the FMC, America Singer. Don’t miss our current reads and what books we’ve recently added to our TBR!

During this episode, we’ll be sharing our top five favorite books of all time (for right now…) and what we love about them. It only took Micaela one whole episode to finally become an audiobook girly. Join us for this episode where we’ll be talking about the book that has been rising in popularity in recent months and the title that we can never get right: The Serpent and the Wings of Night, the book that everyone has been comparing to ACOTAR. It’s the Hunger Games meets Triwizard tournament with Damon and Stefan Salvatore, (any Vampire Diaries fans here?) We discuss what we liked about it, what we didn’t love so much and our theories for the future duologies.
