This week Jerry and Annie speak to Joseph Foudy, a distinguished Clinical Professor of Economics at NYU. He provides them with a lesson in micro economics with art as the basis. A unique perspective, he gives an understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and the economic principles at play within the art world.

In this episode Jerry and Annie interview the Icy Gays (@theicygays). Art collectors from North Dakota, Rob and Eric Thomas-Suwall discuss how they fell in love with art, their taste's and how they came to collect the 250 pieces of contemporary art that make up their collection. With a focus on emerging women and queer artists their collection is currently on display in 'Full Disclosure' at The Plains Museum, ND.

In this episode, hosts Jerry and Annie discuss the fair that screams quiet luxury with their guest Tarka Russell as they gush over all the beauty of last week's affairs. In episode 2, Annie and Jerry discuss the Cape Town cleanse, swag looting in First Class, and the drunk dialing on Phenergan. Despite facing health issues during the trip and not being able to fully explore the art scene as planned, Jerry shares anecdotes about her experiences, including some of the incredible galleries and art works she encountered while in Cape Town.

Upon hearing her (formerly) favorite Cape Town galleries has a reputation for stiffing their artists, the gals discuss the mechanisms that put artists in a vulnerable position to get stiffed by galleries and reflect on the need for proper contracts and legal protection for artists before exhibition sales.
