The troupe are going to mount a legal defence, but also attempt to smuggle weapons into their trial, just in case. Del talked with Tyler about her moral turmoil at having killed people in Ravenloft, Tyler passed the bar—so to speak—and was declared the best lawyer in town by the local solicitor, New Rogue tried on some gloves and booties that should protect his friends from his ghost limbs but instead melted a blacksmith hobbyist’s family heirlooms, and Shadam realized they were probably overthinking things and should just stuff their weapons in his bag of holding. The trial for their lives is about to begin. Do the jesters have a chance?
