What does it really take to lead well in today’s world—especially as a woman of faith? In this episode, Lisa Fields sits down with her longtime friend Dr. Nicole Massie Martin (COO of Christianity Today and founder of Soulfire Ministries) to talk leadership, authenticity, and her new book Nailing It.
They get real about the tension of leading in Christian spaces, the cost of ministry, being a woman and a person of color in leadership, and why true success starts at the cross—not the platform. Dr. Martin also shares insights from her new book Nailing It, which challenges conventional leadership models and offers a fresh perspective on leadership that is rooted in humility, authenticity, and the gospel.
If you've ever felt unseen, burned out, or unsure of your leadership path, this one’s for you. Get ready for wisdom, laughter, and some hard truths about surrendering ego, leading with empathy, and finding purpose in pain.
