Being a mum with ADHD - with comedian & podcaster Em Rusciano

Em Rusciano is a writer, singer, performer, comedian and podcaster. Em was diagnosed with ADHD and autism in her early 40’s, and her three children are all neurodiverse too.  

Now this conversation has been a long time coming.

If you’re a long-time listener of the KICBUMP podcast, you might remember when Em came on in 2023 and asked Steph whether or not she had ADHD.

Well turns out…Em was right! And now, almost two years later, Em is back on the podcast to talk all things ADHD & motherhood.

Like - communicating to your child about their neurodiversity, what makes having ADHD harder as a mum, getting REALLY into your kids’ hobbies, setting up boundaries with your family, and letting go of neurotypical rules of parenting.
