Ep 25 - Exploring the World Through Laurie Winter's Global Landscapes

This time I’ll be talking to Laurie Winter about her amazing New Zealand and worldwide landscapes.

Laurie Winter is a photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand. Photography is her side-business, my passion, my creative outlet, and a chance to practice mindfulness and appreciate what incredibly scenery she has on her doorstep.  She talks about how she feels incredibly lucky to have a hobby that allows her to visit all the most beautiful places in New Zealand, photograph them, and turn these photographs into artworks that capture the essence of the scene that was in front of her. 

We discuss how she balances a young family with her passion and a full time job, what photography means to her and how the NZ landscape shapes her photography experience.
