In 2019, Jenny Lei designed her dream work tote with zero design experience or a fashion degree. She had just graduated from Cornell and felt insecure about the bags she was bringing into job interviews, so she decided to make her own. Six years later, Freja New York made $5.3M in revenue in 2023 alone, made the Forbes 30 under 30 list, and has been seen on celebrities from Hailey Bieber to Katie Holmes. In today's episode, we chat about how Jenny bootstrapped her business, is designing luxury bags at an affordable price, and the exciting new category she wants to tackle next.
