Live Your Best Life with Liz Wright
“Get specific with God; go out there and take adventures with Him, and it might not be that day, it might not be the next week, it might not be the next month, but you will begin to see change, knowing it’s not a coincidence.” - Chad Dedmon
In this episode, Liz has an inspirational conversation with Chad Dedmon, co-founder of Encountering Jesus Ministries and Catch the Wave. Full of passionate, radical love for Jesus, Chad shares about his incredibly unique ministry of preaching the gospel, ministering to people, and interceding for healing in the land—all while paddleboarding. What began as a night-dream has turned into an epic God-adventure in which hundreds of lives have now been touched over 2500 miles of paddling.
A life lived with God is meant to be an adventure. We live in a place of being fully connected with the Father—of being one with Him. We are all His sons and daughters, but we are meant to mature into being His friend, partnering with Him to see His will come to pass on earth as it is in Heaven. When we’re fully connected to Him, evangelism becomes so easy because it’s simply releasing what we authentically carry. Chad illustrates this kind of intimacy and friendship with the Lord in a new documentary about his paddleboard ministry, capturing on film the heart of God for people and how He can use us to reach them.
When we partner with Jesus, we are partnering with His heart. We are not defined by our circumstances, but we are given beautiful opportunities in life in which to experience and reveal His love, redemption, and healing. It’s a privilege to be used by God in this way, even when it seems inconvenient. Chad’s zeal for the Lord and what He’s doing on the earth right now is deeply contagious, and as you listen to this episode, expect a fresh awakening in your heart. Let your passion and faith be ignited today.
