Rob Dietrich is the currently the Master Distiller of Metallica's Blackened American Whiskey, though he may have the most diverse resume in his field, reflecting a man that remains impossible to categorize (and hard to hold down for long). Rob is a combat veteran who joined the Army in his twenties and served three tours, one of them being the incident referred to as "Black Hawk Down". He's a lifelong die-hard music fan of every genre, who chooses to have a record player in his home instead of a television. Rob also has an impressive music career, formerly having worked for Bill Graham Presents for a decade (his first assignment for the world famous promoter was The Tibetan Freedom Concert in 1996, which made an indelible impression and impact on his life).
This another episode that feels like "Jaymee's made a new best friend" (which seem to be happening more often these days). This episode was the brainchild of Jaymee's brother Benjamin Carpenter, who works for Rob and Metallica at Blackened.
