Caleb Van Patten is a former platoon sergeant and combat marksmanship trainer for the Marine Corps, and currently a Firefighter with El Dorado County Fire who were assigned to the recent Eaton Fire in Los Angeles. Jaymee met Caleb moments after Caleb nearly lost his life attempting to save Jaymee's parents Altadena home, and the two became instant friends.
