From its beginnings in 1958 as the Advanced Research Projects Agency to the eventual folding into the Department of Defense in 1972 under its current acronym, DARPA has always been on the cutting edge of technological advancements in the fields of aerospace, defense, computing, and intelligence gathering.

Prepare to be terrified of where this technology is headed and who ultimately has control over its usage, because the robot dogs of your nightmares are only the beginning.
