DAVID BECKMAN HAD AN NDE WHEN HE DROWNED IN A WHITE WATER RAFTING ACCIDENT

At age 33, I had an ND as the result of a white water rafting accident on class five rapids on the South Fork of the Payette River in Idaho. It happened in July 1988, when I was living in Boise, Idaho. I now live on an Island in the Puget Sound, just north of Seattle. I just arrived in California, which is sort of a second home, this afternoon.
