As an "artisan of sensibility," Ashton transcends categories by bringing art and ecological philosophy together in an effort to facilitate the transformation of industrial culture. His mission is to convey a felt sense of ecological existence through multiple aesthetic mediums—including film, essay, poetry, performance, and music.
