Guiding Rage Into Power, Restorative Justice & Notes from Saturn-Pluto with Jesse Estrin

Jesse Estrin is a lead facilitator for Insight-Out's GRIP program (Guiding Rage into Power) in San Quentin prison, a mindfulness based violence prevention program dedicated to healing trauma and cultivating emotional intelligence. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a training in somatic therapy and depth psychology. Jesse has a Masters in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies as well as a Masters in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.

We spoke in this episode about the GRIP program, and the Saturn-Pluto dynamic in the context of that work as well as the general mood in the field right now as this transit is part of our current zeitgeist.
