Another solo episode of Mario's Minute, this time around discussing the excitement of covering Bad Update for the Xbox 360, fixing up a mishap on a friend's pre-built PC, and discussing the games I've recently been playing. Not at all related to Bad Update, but I've mostly been on the Xbox 360 here recently!
Join up for a solo episode of Mario's Minute in which I talk about the odds and ends of my first chipped PS2, Steam Deck naming conventions, frozen hot chocolate, and a bit of a spicy game store story involving 16 GB of flash storage.
First episode of 2025 and we're starting off with a guest episode featuring CrunchBite, the owner and operator of all things XLink Kai! We talk a LOT about XLink Kai including some of the legendary fixes CrunchBite has implemented, our histories with it, the history of XLink Kai itself, how wild it got with PSP support, and more! We've got love for the Wii U as well as the Steam Deck, so we take some time to discuss those. We also set aside a chunk of time to discuss the awesome XCAT project for Xbox, and perhaps some upcoming XCAT360 talk... Tune in and listen for yourself!

Here's to the final episode of the year for Mario's Minute! A solo episode here, and a bit of a longer one due to being long-winded with the stories, but here's to hoping the entertainment is there! I share a GameStop transaction (or three?) gone wrong, a contender I have for a good first hardmod, smoke detectors chirping, and the story of the three PS4s I had before I had my own. To keep things familiar, games currently being played as well as a game store story are shared before wrapping up for 2024. Tune in and enjoy!
A bit of a shorter solo episode of Mario's Minute this month just before Thanksgiving, this time around mostly filled with random stories! The source of my sore spot for always online DRM, no shortcut for removing shortcuts, and disappearing LEGO figures are all discussed before the games I've been playing this month.
A shorter solo episode for October 2024 of Mario's Minute. Talking about some changes in regards to Early Access for videos that I discuss, realizations of what a digital-only future can do with a recent PSN outage, and recent hurricanes causing physical media to be sold out. I also share what games I'm currently playing and share a topical game store story by the end of the episode.
Jason of GameRaveTV returns once again to catch up a bit and talk gaming! We discuss our thoughts on the recently announced PS5 Pro, some Switch 2 rumored leaks which seem to have more credence than others we've seen, physical game collecting, and our undying love for Astro Bot.
Starting off with a rant about a recent Geek Squad rescue and repair after a friend's desktop was deemed unfixable enough to push him to buy a brand new desktop to replace it. We also talk with a now resolved issue over outdated Xbox One consoles being blocked from updating. We cover current video games being played, and finally wrap up with a game store story!
Slot1Gamer reports in from Japan for this episode of Mario's Minute! We talk about his background in electronics, the infinite black hole of information online, audio mixing in films, the Xbox 360 digital storefront shutting down, and more!
Another solo episode of Mario's Minute for this month, my apologies for no guest but between a hectic schedule and bronchitis recovery, things have been busy! Talking a bit about Midwest Fest, the excitement behind the Nintendo Direct for June 2024, and getting DIY like a Villager in Animal Crossing.
A shorter solo episode this month on Mario's Minute. Talking about Limited Run Games selling D: The Game for 3DO on CD-R discs instead of pressed discs, Sony walking back their decision to require Helldivers 2 on PC to be linked to a PSN account, and sharing a particularly stomach churning game store story.
Harcroft joins in for this month's Mario's Minute in an original Xbox focused episode! We talk about his personal Title Update and DLC archiving projects, new projects such as XCAT, and a big delve into the OXHD which aims to be an open source solution to install internal HDMI output on an original Xbox.
A bit of a shorter solo episode this month, but mostly gaming related! Talking about some personal StreetPass memories at the thought of it being over 13 years old, a dog story related to a bowl of stolen salmon, and uncovering an old story that I thought back to related to a game store employee trying to downplay a remake of Final Fantasy VII.
Going solo for this episode of Mario's Minute in which I talk about Funimation's fold into Crunchyroll removing "forever" digital copies of content that people own, winning a case on eBay as a seller, and theorizing whether or not the new PlayStation and Xbox consoles should have been delayed by a year.
Gather round, friends! For its time for yet another episode of MARIO'S MINUTE, this time with ModzvilleUSA as a return guest! We talk about loud Dreamcast noises, the ideal dog:human ratio in a household, Game Dude, the Mig Switch flashcart, and get a healthy amount of pizza talk in.
For 2023's final episode of Mario's Minute, we're talking about old mods, new mods, new content removals, and false antivirus accusations! Talking a bit about getting PMEX set up for my younger brothers, the entire process of importing Minecraft worlds into Minecraft Bedrock, Discovery content being removed from PlayStation platforms, and finally the personal offense I took to being accused of installing McAfee on a clean Windows machine!
Joining up for this year's final guest on Mario's Minute is NickMoses05, a fellow content creator who has been in the world of modding for a while now! We've both followed each other's content for several years at this point and finally got to link up for an episode discussing everything from travel, food, GERMS, phone addiction, and an exclusive story told by Nick about how he damaged his childhood NES.
Talking about everything from beefing over a fat cat, to Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch, the PS5 Slim announcement, and regrets selling old game consoles. Pepper in some old game store stories and we've got ourselves another solo episode of Mario's Minute! Hope you all enjoy.
Over five years of Mario's Minute episodes, but over ten years of Grand Theft Auto V! We talk about that a bit on this solo episode, alongside a leak of a digital only Xbox Series X refresh model, my first soldering experiences up to my first successful one, and some game store stories all centered around one particular individual.
Joined up this month with returning guest KawlunDram! Talking about the re-release of Red Dead Redemption, the remaster of Quake 2, and the PlayStation Portal being the Wii U Gamepad for the PS5. We've also got some headphone talk, media server discussion, and talk about the games we're currently playing in this densely packed episode of Mario's Minute.
Another solo episode this month, but here to talk about the Call of Duty games (and more!) being fixed up on the Xbox 360, which was a surprise to many. Some stories involving anime, trash, toilet paper, and shared high school WiFi. Finally, talking about games I've played recently including a rant about how bad Turok (2008) was.
A solo episode for this month's Mario's Minute covering comments, cleaner, and a massive digitizing project! First I talk about being noticed for Jet Moto 2 of all things, followed by a rant about staying far away from MX Cleaner due to the massive stink it generates. Industrial style soldering irons are discussed at length, to determine whether or not these are really needed for many console mods out there? Finally, I also talk about my ups and downs completing a multi-year long VHS digitizing project I wanted to tackle.
This month features the console modding Wiki master Derf joining us for a couple hours to chat! We talk about the Wiki projects he's worked on, the downfall of forum/message board culture, mixed in with a bit of preservation talk. We had to touch up quite bit on Xbox 360 modding talk, and also talked about our preferences for retro gaming depending on consoles, displays, and some emulation!
Going solo again for this episode of Mario's Minute, getting into a bit of everything here! Starting with a bit of religious NES modding, and getting to my E3 thoughts a bit late asking if E3 is really needed these days? Some restaurant talk, game store stories, and current games being played!
Going solo for this episode of Mario's Minute! Talking a bit about the warm reaction I had on my one-off DKOldies video, a recent error(?) surrounding the Xbox 360's digital storefront closing, and the Game Boy family finally arriving on Nintendo Switch Online! As always on these solo episodes, finishing off with some game store stories as well.
For this guest episode of Mario's Minute, we welcome f4mi on the show for a nearly three hour podcast! We talk about a range of topic from the rise of modern day social media, to LeafyisHere, to the rapid growth of AI, and a whole lot of Famiclone talk.
First episode of 2023! For this episode I do a bit of a retrospective with Mario's Minute now being over five years old. I also do a bit of a state of things on the channel, and I spend a good chunk of time talking about console modding. A troubleshooting story with an odd culprit, as well as what I believe seems to separate some of the best and worst customers.
To finish out 2022 I brought on ModzvilleUSA for his first ever guest appearance on a podcast! We spent almost three hours talking about the ModzvilleUSA origin story, and of course PLENTY of modding. Lots of Xbox 360 RGH talk, experiences with the original Xbox, the art of PS2 installs, Famicom Disk System games, and much more!
A solo but festive episode of Mario's Minute for the Thanksgiving season! I talk a bit about Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, Black Friday, and the overall holiday season here. A bit of a run-in with a Karen at the local Post Office. Also, more game store stories from my days of working at a game shop!
A laptop filled episode of Mario's Minute this month! The first one being a throwback to nearly ten years ago when Asus required me to get a diagnosis on my old laptop from Best Buy's Geek Squad, to which they blamed a WiFi board defect on... GoogleUpdate.exe? I also share some more adventures in the world of laptop upgrades, as I worked on a laptop upgrade and another laptop revival for my girlfriend. Some potential wedding crashers get reported on, as well as the routine sharing of a game store story and which games I've been playing recently.
Talking with Dr_Boomhauer, friend of the show, for this month's episode of Mario's Minute! We talk about our background over how we know each other, as well as his Xbox hardware collecting tendencies. We also talk quite a bit about games this episode with the recent GoldenEye 007 announcements, the HUGE Grand Theft Auto VI leak, and Sony increasing the price of the PS5 across multiple territories.
Games, games, and games for this episode of Mario's Minute! Before I recorded this episode, I got annoyed with selling some games on eBay and figured... Why not bring it up on the podcast and air my annoyances about it here? I also finally got my Steam Deck and share my initial thoughts, feelings, and experiences with it all. A bunch of games were played on it recently, which I talked a bit about as I do every month. Finally I also share some stories from my days of working at a local video game shop.
Jason of GameRaveTV joins in to talk about a bit of everything old and new in this guest episode of Mario's Minute! We talk a whole lot about the original PlayStation, our experiences working at game shops, and shine a bit of light on the process of unearthing a hidden demo of DOOM back in 2020.
Coming back for a solo episode of Mario's Minute after overcoming a dreaded illness, to delving back into the gaming deep-end by running through all of the Max Payne games for the first time in a decade! I also might have accidentally picked up a new sickness, that being an addiction to Game Boy mods and upgrades! I also share some scratchy game shop stories and share the rest of the games I've been playing.
This time around we have special guest Badger Goodger on for his first ever podcast appearance! We sat down for an extra long episode here as the conversation kept flowing, most of it related to games published by Rockstar Games that Badger Goodger is known for in the community. The validity of some past Rockstar related leaks is discussed as well as multiplayer games we enjoyed, the definitively botched GTA Trilogy remasters, streaming pains, and much more!

A whole lot of gaming goodness this month! Starting off shouting out and talking about ConsoleMods.org which is shaping up to be one of the best written resources for console modding documentation. Sony has started a Game Preservation Team which I discuss my thoughts on, and immediately follow that up with Sega delisting classic Sonic games to make way for Sonic Origins. Microscope talk is a bit of a thing here this month, as well as a couple stories about crusty consoles.

KawlunDram from Soruce Gaming joins in for this month's episode of Mario's Minute! Over the course of a couple hours we talk about everything from chicken wings and hot sauce to rants in the world of tech and video games. A lot of what we discuss here is related to gaming, but we also get to talking about sicknesses we picked up (not that one) and a good amount of pet talk. Tune in and enjoy!
A gaming, tech, and rant filled episode for this month's episode of Mario's Minute! After talking a bit about the history of Mario's Minute, I rant about the TV issue that's been slowly plaguing my eyes for almost three years. The recent announcement of the 3DS & Wii U eShops being discontinued is also discussed here. Game install sizes for ninth generation consoles are FINALLY significantly decreasing, and with games being discussed I figured I'd return with a game store story.
A new year, so let's start out with a first for Mario's Minute: The first return guest! FrameRater comes back onto Mario's Minute as we catch up with him after a couple of breaks and a ton of awesome life developments. We talk about an upcoming Serious Sam release, review consoles, taking much needed breaks, and the recent Activision Blizzard acquisition by Microsoft.
Final episode of the year! Here I talk a bit more about the excitement of the 9.00 jailbreak being released for PS4. I also ended up picking up a new Xbox, this one being the Series S, so I give my thoughts on using it so far. Some talk about Halo Infinite and finally blowing off some steam about preordering game consoles with the Analogue Pocket being discussed.
Two Xbox 360 modding extraordinaire guests in a row?! This time around we have Octal joining us, an important figurehead in the Xbox 360 modding scene who has pushed RGH related developments forward in massive ways the last few years. We talk about what got him into electronics repair, the recent Right to Repair legislation, RGH3, backwards compatibility on Xbox One/Series, and more!
Back again for a solo episode of Mario's Minute this spooky month! I rant a bit about a terrifying sight I saw at a game shop: scalped PS5 consoles in a forced bundle! Kingdom Hearts coming to Switch is discussed, but it isn't as nice as many would expect. Some travel plans from this past month are discussed, a bit of the Switch scene, and my thoughts on the upcoming Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy release.
Long time friend of the channel Element aka The Mod Shop drops in this month to chat it up a bit! We spend a TON of time talking about some fond history with Xbox 360 modding, which is of course to be expected between us two. We also talk about some of our favorite mods we've seen, some N64 mods, updates to Nintendo Switch Online with the Expansion Pack announcement, and some advice on starting to reverse engineer.
Going solo this month to talk about recent news of Halo Infinite shipping incomplete or, excuse me, spreading content across multiple seasons. I also discuss some annoyances with PS4 to PS5 cross platform play for multiplayer, some sticker shock of compatible SSD prices for the PS5, and we go back in time to discuss a few game shop stories! Stay tuned.
Long time listener, Discord server admin, and friend of the show TazTheTechWiz comes on for this episode of Mario's Minute to chop it up for a bit! We talk about my most painful spicy food experience from about a week prior, which I don't advise anyone to emulate. We also discuss some pre-order hardware with the Steam Deck and Switch (OLED Model) being announced. I also FINALLY got a PS5, all thanks to TazTheTechWiz, so I give my first impressions on that.
This time around on Mario's Minute we've got a bit of news sprinkled alongside the personal stories! First up being a recent wave of PS3 console bans which might be due to an alleged leak of PS3 Console IDs. I also discuss the news of the re3 GitHub repository coming back online, which includes reVC and the upcoming Liberty City Stories branch for Grand Theft Auto reverse engineering efforts. Some talk of eBay sales, some more of my dog Lily making a friend, and wrapping it all up by visiting my old game shops!
This episode of Mario's Minute features Blaine Locklair, a fellow YouTuber who primarily covers game emulation and console modifications! Blaine came on for a couple of hours for some awesome conversation involving game preservation, collecting, and comparing old vs. new game store shopping experiences. We also get some life conversation in the mix with public speaking, introvert recharging, and mid-life crisis decisions over a Sega CDX.
Back again, solo again, talking about cats and the same storefront yet again like this is the second part of last month's episode! This month I give a bit of a quarantine related update and continue discussing last month's cat and PS3/PSP/Vita digital storefront shutdowns. I also share my experience shopping at a GameStop for the first time in over a year, taking Lily to the vet, and a throwback game store story.
For this month of Mario's Minute we're just going over a few topics, but some big ones for this episode! The first being how I ended up forcing a phone upgrade early due to some negligence on my part. PS3/PSP/Vita storefronts are reportedly shutting down in July and August of this year, and although at the time of recording a straight up public statement has yet to be made, I took some time to give my thoughts over this issue in the past, present, and future of digital storefronts. Finally I also talk about a kitten rescue I've accidentally gotten myself into, and wrap everything up with a game store story.
This episode of Mario's Minute features @Kacey, fellow YouTuber who works on a variety of gaming topics with a bit of a focus on weird console ports. She took some time to hang out for a couple of hours and discuss XLink Kai, college experiences, cars, and the importance of work spaces.
A new year, a new solo episode of Mario's Minute! In this episode I discuss the recent price increase, and sudden retraction, of Xbox Live Gold being doubled to $120. I also upgraded an older desktop as well as a few of my consoles with SSDs, so I take some time out to discuss my experiences and thoughts covering that venture. To top off the upgrades, new monitors have arrived! Tune in for these experience recaps and more.
For the final episode of 2020 we're joined by FrameRater! He stops by for a couple of hours as we discuss gaming as work, the Cyberpunk 2077 launch situation, and adventures with an upcoming Philips CD-i purchase. We also talk repair stories and odd issues we can't explain with consoles, because electronics do that sort of thing.
The ninth generation of game consoles is here with the Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 all hitting virtual store shelves! And guess who got one or all of them? Definitely not me, but that won't stop me from discussing my thoughts over their releases! I also discuss and pose the question to you all asking: When does a game console become retro? Aside from that, in this episode I discuss my experiences with glasses, as well as share a few more game shop stories.
Master Turkey joins up for this month's episode of Mario's Minute to talk a bit about everything! In this episode we discuss the inflated housing market, our upcoming thoughts on the Xbox Series X/PlayStation 5, and dogs because... Well, why not? Michael Pachter also had an odd take about the Switch and Switch Lite which we discuss a bit further on here. Finally, for the first time on Mario's Minute... Book talk?! I guess so, stay tuned.
Spooky bot filled preorder season this time around on Mario's Minute! In this episode I discuss my thoughts over the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X consoles. We gotta include the madness that was preordering these consoles, don't we? While there's been major difficulty for people trying to preorder any of these three systems, it seems like it has been even worse for anyone trying to get one of the new RTX cards! Oh, and I brought in a story from my time working at a game shop.
Old friend of the show TheOnlyZoltan joins in as a guest for this month's Mario's Minute! We take a couple of hours out to reminisce over how we originally met, as well as talk about some current events. Some of these include LeafyIsHere's termination, the lawsuit Epic Games filed against Apple, and some experiences/tips setting up new PCs for family members.
Going solo again for this episode of Mario's Minute! As July was a bit of a busy month for me, I spend some time talking about what's been going on recently. In the gaming world, I give my thoughts on the price hike we'll be seeing for next generation consoles with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X games retailing for $70 US Dollars. The Xbox One gets some love this episode as I ask the listeners about an issue I ran into recently while refurbishing one. Oh, and there's a dead squirrel story in here.
This episode of the Mario's Minute podcast is brought to you by three months of self-quarantine! I give an update in regards to being self-quarantined, but also ramble on about the recent PlayStation 5 reveal and price speculation. As we're talking PlayStation 5, we might as well sprinkle some Xbox Series X talk in there, right?
This self-quarantined episode of Mario's Minute has Adam Koralik joining to talk about old video games and more! We discuss his retrospective console series, rant a bit about parents using technology, and get up to speed on Adam jumping into the world of Xbox 360 modding.
A bit of a slow month to be had on this episode of Mario's Minute due to the self-quarantine lifestyle. In this episode I discuss my experience with the quarantine for the past month, share a story from working at a video game store, and dedicate a ton of time to discussing my thoughts on Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Paul from Retro Gaming Arts joins in for this episode of Mario's Minute! We're here to as Paul puts it: talk about video games and whatnot for an extended period of time. We discuss Paul's fascination with the PS2, have some throwback discussion in regards to the PSP, try to address some bad gaming habits, and give our thoughts on the Nintendo PlayStation being sold!
In this episode of Mario's Minute I chronicle the recent repair issues I've had with my own car, in which I've had more faults with the mechanics as opposed to actual car issues! I can now officially say I do two podcasts again, as I talk about my thoughts on the return of ModChat. Finally, I also share a few stories from my days of working at a local video game store... Maybe more to come if the demand is there?
For the first episode of 2020 I catch up with RockerGaming, the GameCube modding extraordinaire! In this episode we talk a bit about releasing content on YouTube, RockerGaming's history of getting into GameCube mods, and the modding scenes on college campuses back in the 6th gen of game consoles. With the news of Final Fantasy VII Remake being delayed, I also wanted to discuss my thoughts over the remake as well as the original all these years later.
The last episode of Mario's Minute for this year and this decade! Join in as I talk a bit about holiday plans, recent PC repair frustrations, as well as the gift of giving game consoles for Christmas. Oh, and some straight up thievery going on...
This episode of Mario's Minute features friend of the show ThatOneMartini, formally known as EpicMartin7 online! Join us as we talk about his time with Source Gaming, Legacy Editions of sports titles, DMCA takedowns and issues surrounding the latest Pokémon releases, and a slew of recent YouTube channel hackings.
Welcome back to a spooky Halloween edition of Mario's Minute! In this solo episode I'll be using the timing to talk about past and present Halloween experiences. I also have another update to provide in regards to the basement leaks mentioned last month with Pathogen-David. Getting to meet nothing, nowhere., one of my favorite musicians, was an experience that I had to talk about on here as well. Finally, I've gotten back into The Witcher 3 thanks to the recent Switch port! So I figured discussing that would be great as well.
This month of Mario's Minute features long time personal friend as well as friend of the show Pathogen-David! We go off on a ton of tangents in the midst of our topics, but this 3 hour show flew by for the both of us. Pathogen-David also provides an additional voice of insight on my recent basement flood as he's the one who helped with the repairs! Join us as we discuss the flood, YouTube's shenanigans with verification badges, as well as some talk about Untitled Goose Game.
In this solo episode of Mario's Minute, I take some time to discuss getting up to 20 episodes of Mario's Minute as well as future plans for ModChat, my main podcast. Since the last episode, shopping around for a used car has taken up a nice chunk of free time. I decided to use this opportunity to recap my experiences as well as to hopefully provide some advice to any other inexperienced car shoppers. I also take the opportunity to discuss Nickelodeon's latest nostalgic film releases, in the form of the Rocko's Modern Life and Invader Zim movies.
Skullator spends a couple hours chatting away on this episode of Mario's Minute! We go a bit all over the place here, but of course we had to talk modding while we had each other on the line here. Aside from modding topics, we attempt to talk about Stranger Things 3, air out our thoughts over the Switch Lite, and spend a while talking about the current games we've been playing. Enjoy!
Here's to another episode of Mario's Minute, the first solo episode after the 100,000 subscriber milestone! In this episode I discuss some thoughts around hitting this subscriber count milestone, meeting up with one of my longest running subscribers, and why not sprinkle some Atari news in here? No, not the Atari VCS. I discuss my thoughts of a long lost Atari arcade machine's ROM possibly being stolen! Stay tuned.
This time around on Mario's Minute we feature a dear personal friend and longtime friend of the show: dGreen! He's been a personal friend of mine long before the MrMario2011 channel was created and has had his music featured in several videos from the past few years. I brought him on for a long overdue discussion in which we touch up on the Xbox One SAD console release, convention hygiene, and some current YouTube drama/news in the community.
Is this the episode of nothing but negative themes? Censorship thanks to the YouTube Content ID system on top of the dreaded month of taxes?! Don't worry, I'll try to make this episode of Mario's Minute as entertaining as I can with these heavier themes. I also take some time to discuss some funny stories of the channel being discovered by friends, as well as my first experiences playing a visual novel. Enjoy!
This episode was definitely a treat to get lined up. pyama, a long time dear friend of mine, accepted my invitation to come onto the podcast and have a chat for a few hours! pyama has been a friend of the channel for several years, showing up in many different videos, and most notably having his music featured as background tracks in my most recent content. We were both really excited to schedule this as a public reveal and have him talk for the first time outside of his music. This episode went on for a lot longer than I expected, I was running out of steam near the end but it was without a doubt a great conversation with an awesome friend of mine. Enjoy!
First solo episode of 2019 for Mario's Minute coming in hot! I wasn't able to bring it up last episode, but I took some time out this episode to discuss the last year of Mario's Minute in review, from the initial plans to how it has unfolded. I also take some time out to discuss the recent YouTube Adpocalypse 2, my thoughts on remastered games, as well as a positive story involving Lily. Gotta brighten the mood somehow!
Year 2 of Mario's Minute is a go! Let's start off the new year with a new guest to the show: Modern Vintage Gamer! This episode has us going into a deep dive covering the attitude of modding scenes from 15 years ago and involves quite a bit of past, present, and future game discussion. We also touch up on Xbox hardware from all generations, Bungie's split from Activision, and we have to include Soulja Boy aka BIG SOULJA aka Big Draco. Enjoy!
Here we are, the end of the year! Welcome back for the final 2018 edition of Mario's Minute! Enjoy as I discuss the end of Nintendo's Creators Program, share a story about a PS3 obsessed kid from my days in retail, free games, and even sprinkle some Raspberry Pi goodness in here.
This month's episode of Mario's Minute includes special guest James Reiner, one of the podcast's earliest supporters when this was still being planned! James, otherwise known as Shengoro86, is a fellow modder, YouTuber, and figurehead in the Shenmue community who helped spearhead the demand for Shenmue HD remakes as well as Shenmue 3! Join us as we talk live for the first time to discuss spicy food, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate leak, modding scenes, and more.
Here's to a spooky podcast episode of Mario's Minute, full of talk about BIOS issues, Toys "R" Us crust, and nightmare-esque experiences of dealing with people wanting free RGH related handouts. Is that creepy enough for Halloween? Yes? No? Let me know after giving this a listen! 👻
This month we're finally joined by a guest! iTzLuPo is one of the first people I had started following in the modding scene when I was initially coming up on YouTube, I had originally found him as many of our tutorials and videos were covering overlapping topics. Although it has been several years since he's uploaded to his channel, he's still been around and we've been in contact with each other for about 5 or 6 years at this point. So... I guess in the end we got to have at least a single collaboration? Either way, I thought it would be awesome to have him on as a guest as well as catch up for the first time in a while. If you're at all familiar with him from the Xbox 360 modding scene several years ago, you'll be in for a treat.
Going solo again for this month's episode of Mario's Minute as I wanted to take some time to share the recent Seattle travel experience! At the end of July/beginning of August my girlfriend and I went to Seattle for a summer vacation. No goals in mind, no schedule, just visiting for the sake of checking out the place for the first time! In here I share my experiences getting to see some of the marketplaces, visiting Microsoft, Valve, Nintendo, and more! Although that takes up a large bulk of the podcast we also get some gaming topics in here too, with games currently being played as well as my thoughts on the recently announced Xbox All Access program.
As always, the last Wednesday of the month brings along another episode of Mario's Minute! Take a listen as I take some time this month to discuss my childhood game collection being recovered, travel pricing, further weight loss, and more! I also share a few stories from recent events in which friends managed to find my channel organically, stay tuned and enjoy the podcast.
We're joined by Sean in this episode of Mario's Minute! A long time friend, collaborator, and guest who's been featured on the channel a few times, it's now time for him to put him onto a podcast for the first time! We tackle Toys "R" Us shutting down, Sony's defiance against cross-play with other consoles, a few games we're playing, and more! Join us.
Another month, another episode! Continuing off of last month's episode, I provide an update into my experience with Keto, my thoughts on video game discounts being disrupted with Gamers Club Unlocked from Best Buy being killed off, the Xbox 360 being hit with an update out of nowhere, and some "experiments" YouTube is doing. Sound interesting? Stay tuned.
Back to a solo episode! After having two guests on in a row, I decided to go solo on this episode and talk about whatever was coming to mind for topics. First of all - new environment! If audio is still getting dialed in right now it's because of a recent move, however I'm hoping everything will sound okay from the new office this is being recorded in. It also seems like I've FINALLY dealt with the bending Switch issue, which results in a fifth RMA I discuss here. Along with some God of War thoughts, GameCube hardware discussion, and HDMI solutions, this episode seems to be half gaming, half personal. Let me know what you all think of this one!
Devin aka ParanoidCoder doubles up for podcast duty this month to be the first physical guest for Mario's Minute! Devin is my co-host on ModChat so I already have the pleasure of podcasting with him once a month, however I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do an offline test of what our new setup would be like. If the audio sounds nicer than normal, great! If not, we'll continue to tweak it further on-air! For now, join us for stories of moving, a ninja hamster, and Lily's butt destroying society as we know it.
Daniel from ModBot joins in as the first guest for Mario's Minute! Daniel is, without a doubt, the person I have the absolute most experience collaborating with which made him an easy pick for a first guest. Daniel started out on YouTube as thedopesoner930 and was in the realm of console modifications, after speaking privately to him and doing our first collaboration on a Destiny video I made, we decided to start up ModChat as our monthly podcast. I aim for guest episodes to be more of a conversation than an interview, that makes for some natural banter and a relaxed environment for everyone involved, so I plan for future guest episodes to be similar to this. Join us as we talk about 4K upgrades, the recent cryptocurrency boom, and what games we've been obsessing over.
Welcome to the first episode of Mario's Minute! This is a podcast I do either solo, or with a friend, where we talk about... Well, whatever we want to!
This is the initial pilot of Mario's Minute, an episode which was made to test the waters and shop around for feedback. This is only available as an unlisted YouTube video and through podcast outlets, enjoy!
