Mass Timber Construction Podcast
In this special guest episode, Eli Gould joins me as the US Representative of QWEB under the Wood Structure Group based in the USA. QWEB is a nonprofit 200 member association of Quebec wood producers and manufacturers. My almost-full-time service for them is a great extension of my green building experience that allows me to help larger projects using wood, and connect great communities of manufacturers with projects in the US, Caribbean, and Latin America. In 2020, the nonprofit role also evolved into leading the teams building some ambitious (and free) digital tools for the wood structure industry in BIM (the Offsite Wood plug-in for Revit) and early phase embodied carbon calculations (The CarbonFixer App).
