Our pets are here to give us love and affection, to allow us the privilege of caring for another living being, and so much more.

For many of us, our pets are an important source of love, and they will continue to be that even after their too-short lives come to an end: our pets ~ and animal companions of all kinds ~ will continue loving us even after they return to their spirit home.

My best definition of Love? Lack of separation.

As with family members and friends, losing an animal companion can be heartwrenching. And yet it's that very love that is the reason we can eternally connect with our pets in spirit.

The Awakened Way teaches that we are part of one big web, and there is no doubt that our animal family members are as well. One of the most frequent questions I get as a medium is from those whose loved ones have left this life by choice. Are they okay? Is there punishment? (Quickly, the answer is YES! and NO!) Claudia Milligan's son, David, began communicating with his mother, making it very clear that he was just fine, and he shared a remarkable bit of information about how he was met upon crossing over. In the midst of a disastrous accident, Jeffery Olsen had an incredible near death experience which brought startling insights and healing and ultimately changed his life. While running a marathon, ER doc Karen Crawford was suddenly able to see the presence of the souls in those around her. That experience, and many other awakenings which preceded it, have led to dramatic changes in Karen's life.

Rob A. Gentile died twice, came back, got a new heart, and a whole lot of wisdom. Listen in to hear first hand what it was like on the other side, what Rob calls "the Ethereal." 

At the age of 56, Rob had a massive heart attack followed by a profound near-death experience.
