Conversations with Nerida McMahon: Motherhood truths- sleep school, weaning, transition to day care & miscarriage

In today's episode our host Mon speaks with Melbourne based Mumma Nerida McMahon where we dive straight into the honest and unspoken truths of some of the challenges in the postpartum period. After months of sleepless nights and her emotions at an all time high Nerida shares with us how she no longer could manage the mothers mental load by just herself and her husband and identified that it is okay to reach out and ask for help. She shares with us her positive sleep school experience, discusses the emotions attached to sending your baby to daycare as well as her weaning journey after breastfeeding for 14 months. Nerida opens up on her recent miscarriage and the weeks surrounding this in hope to breakdown the 'stigma' of miscarriages not being spoken about and instead wishes to share some important information surrounding it. Nerida hopes that by sharing her story it may help others going through a similar experience.
