Middee Education: Concerns whilst pregnant- When you should come into the hospital to be monitored

17 min • 6 augusti 2021
In today's episode our host Mon shares with us some vital midwifery education regarding concerns whilst you are pregnant and when you should come into the hospital to be monitored. She discusses and explains the variety of different reasons you may find yourself coming into hospital antenatally (before labour) to be monitored and explains the importance of doing so for both you and your baby's wellbeing. She touches on decreased fetal movements, bleeding, fever, nausea + vomiting, pain & more. As well as explains what happens when you do come into the hospital and how midwives will monitor the baby via what we call a Cardiotocography (CTG) machine. Mon's aim in this episode is to educate you about this topic but encourages you to always seek your own medical advice from your healthcare provider.
