The Modern Data Stack brought a lot of improvements to data workflows and practices. It's also 10 years old (AWS Redshift publicly launched in 2012, kicking off the MDS). Meanwhile, new advancements in streaming-first systems and architectures, ML, etc means we can start to see where things are going next.   What's next after the Modern Data Stack? We're not precisely sure, but we've got an idea.
