In this episode I am talking with Ulisses Schlosser. Ulisses is a Brazilian psychologist who has been exploring consciousness through the Brazilian framework of conscientiology for more than 30 years. He spoke with me from his home in Foz do Iguaçu or Iguaçu Falls. We had a few audio issues, including a neighbourhood dog who wanted to get in on the act, but if consciousness research is your thing I encourage you to listen to the end. Ulissess shares two of his research passions: paraphenomenology, ie the scientific study of phenomena related to psychic experieneces, and cosmoconsciousness, ie the experience of clear perception of our connectedness with the cosmos. Along the way we explore what science needs to look like to account for non-physical experiences, the nature of perception and reality and much more.
