29th August 2003 at 03:45am the police received a 999 call from an elderly woman saying her husband had been attacked by intruders and could they please come quickly as she thought he was dead.
Very quickly things began to appear “off” to the Police. Not least that the victim was 83/85 years old, very poor health, almost bedbound and the victims wife, being 81 – both of which would be able to put up little resistance. So why did the victim appear to have been stabbed so violently and why did the TOD appear to be MUCH earlier than the 999 call?
This week we discuss: Murder, Elder Abuse, Lenient Sentencing
