Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Acts 5:31 which says "God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins."
"Yesterday someone asked me about my faith journey and how I got to this point. There are two answers. The long version and the short version but in both stories I will never leave out the small detail that my life was a mess, and I needed help. Things were tough at home, and I needed help. I was depressed and I needed help.
We live in a society where it almost seems weak to ask for help. We all have the “I’ve got it handled” attitude and it comes to a point where we all need to admit it to ourselves. We don’t have it handled, and that’s okay because we have someone who wants to take care of it for us.
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
I hope we are a generation of believers that find the narrow road. I hope we find Jesus and we never let go. I hope we remember what this season is truly about. I hope we honor Him with our lives story."
