Gabe dives into how we never arrive at Truth, but approach it asymptotically, due to the limitations of the constructs of language. He discusses idealism versus materialism. While materialism has not made progress on the hard problem of consciousness, this problem doesn't exist within idealism. Using the framework of dreams, its relatively simple to conceptualize how matter is created from consciousness. Occam's Razor and Gödel's incompleteness theorem are discussed in relation to meaning making. The Simulation Hypothesis, while an interesting and accessible thought experiment, fails to take a stand on materialism or idealism, defining consciousness, and ultimately doesn't stand up to other frameworks according to Occam's Razor.
