"In 1947 I saw a group from the Stern-gang freeing some Stern-members in the Akka prison. They were dressed up lika British officers and used explosives. That was the first time I saw jews carrying guns. When I saw this I understood that the Jews now were ruling the country and that we, the people of the land, were their slaves", says Mahmoud Khalil Abdullati, born 1930 in Akka, Palestine.
