The Nakba #27
”We fled to Lebanon by foot. I brought my 84 sheep. I didn’t have a place to sleep so I had to sell them. Being a shepard was a therapy to the soul. To this day I sometimes cry over my sheep”, says Abdullah Taleb El Salhane, born 1923 in Bassa, Palestine.
