Hey there, it's me, your go-to guide from the New Mom Naturopath Podcast, bringing you another episode filled with warmth and wisdom. Today's episode is special," Mastering Postpartum Communication with Your Partner." I'm diving deep into the art of communicating effectively with your partner during the postpartum period, a time that's as challenging as it is beautiful.

I understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate the sea of emotions after welcoming a new life. That's why I'm introducing you to "tap-out phrases." These are simple yet powerful tools to help you express your needs when you're at a loss for words. They're like a secret code between you and your partner, signaling when you need a break or extra support.

Alongside, I'll be sharing some journal prompts that have helped me walk through the complex emotions of postpartum. Journaling can be a therapeutic way to process your thoughts and feelings during this transformative time.

And here's the cherry on top – I've created a particular worksheet for you, "The Postpartum Tap Out." This worksheet is designed to be your ally in postpartum communication, helping you and your partner develop a shared language for your needs and emotions. It's a practical tool to foster empathy and understanding in your relationship during these tender times.

You can download "The Postpartum Tap Out" worksheet at www.thenewmomnaturopath.com/tapout. Let it guide you towards a harmonious and loving postpartum experience with your partner. Join me in this episode for heartfelt advice and relatable tips I wish I had heard as a new mom.

Remember, you're not alone on this incredible journey of motherhood. We're in this together, one step at a time, with lots of love and a dash of humor.

I hope you have a wonderful day... see you soon!

On today's podcast, I got personal about how I feel about being a mom I am. I had a tough week this week.

I've been trying to get my business up and running. I'm trying to get this podcast to have more views so that I can help more women like you.

I'm also trying to manage a life where I have a two-year-old. I have a husband who works all the time, and I am also trying to get credentialed with insurance to make more income as a naturopath.

In this episode, I gave a little peek into the window of what it's like to manage 1,000,000 and 1/2 things, which most moms are dealing with daily, and postpartum is no exception.

I wanted to be clear that this is not me to give you a pity party, but this is more of a way for me to say you're not alone and I'm here to help even though your thoughts are hard and your thoughts are complex.

But know that being down or feeling crazy, you're feeling mentally unstable, is also temporary.  You won't feel like this forever and are not alone, Mama.

Also, it’s ok to cry. Postpartum isn’t easy, but you can still love it.

Remember, your well-being matters, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
