In today’s episode, I discuss what you should prioritize as a new mother during postpartum. There are a lot of different factors for why stress increases during postpartum, but most of it breaks down to the fact that you are learning and your body is healing. During postpartum, you have a change in how you respond to stressors for most women; this results in an increase in stress response and comes out as anxiety. It is challenging in postpartum to prioritize tasks if you are experiencing anxiety. Every single thing on your to-do list seems like it is the priority. The dishes feel the same level of importance as the crying baby. In this episode, I dive into how you tell if it is a priority or not. Hope you enjoy it, mama!
