298 | View # 3 , Government is Evil And Demonic

This view is usually held by pacifists, and it disagrees with Romans 13:1-6 ,where it says that government is a servant of God.  They take Luke 4: 5-7 out of context. We should also take the whole view of the Bible.  Daniel  4: 7 , says that the most high rules the kingdoms of men.  So God is in control of governments not Satan.  God allows governments to go after evil doers, He appoints governments, and he is the one that establishes them (all of them).  The job of the civil government is punish  those who do evil.
