For this month's second throwback podcast review, I was joined by Lauren LaMagna, Danilo Castro, and Isaiah Washington to discuss the first collaboration between Academy Award-winning director Martin Scorsese and Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio in "Gangs Of New York" to help us get ready for the release of their latest piece of work together in "Killers Of The Flower Moon." Starring an all-star cast with DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, Cameron Diaz, Jim Broadbent, John C. Reilly, Brendan Gleeson, Henry Thomas & Liam Neeson, production delays plagued Scorsese passion project, including clashes with the studio. It all led to a finished product that was high on ambition but messy in its execution. There are many bright spots to be found, including Daniel Day-Lewis' iconic performance as Bill The Butcher, the staggering production design, and the story's themes. What do we think of it, though, over two decades later?
